Holiday Film Night, Kwanzaa Celebration – The Lyric Theatre & Cultural Arts Center

Katie Solove welcomes Ashley C. Smith, from The Lyric Theatre & Cultural Arts Center, to talk about the Holiday Film Night, coming up on Friday, December 16th, and their Kwanzaa Celebration on December 26th!

During the season of giving, The Lyric wanted to provide something special for the community, their patrons, and supporters.  That’s why they lined up two classic holiday movies for neighbors to enjoy for free!

The evening will kick off at 6:00 p.m. with a showing of John Hughes’ “Home Alone,” starring Macauley Culkin.  That will be followed immediately with “The Preacher’s Wife,” featuring Denzel Washington and Whitney Houston at 8:30 p.m.

A short ten days later, the Lyric Theatre will be hosting their Kwanzaa Celebration.  The event is FREE and open to the public, and will include food, entertainment, and education on this special time of year!  The Kwanzaa celebration will run from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Make sure to pre-register for a Kwanzaa kit to receive at the event- click here to reserve yours now!

The Lyric Theatre & Cultural Arts Center is located at 300 East Third Street in Lexington.
