Hit-and-run in Georgetown involving car and motorcycle

GEORGETOWN, Ky. (WTVQ) – Georgetown Police are investigating a hit-and-run that sent two people to the hospital.

According to the department, they are now looking for a dark blue Chevy Impala or Chevy Malibu. Officers say this car is connected to a hit-and-run involving a motorcycle Thursday night on the Bypass at Seminole Trail. They say the car was last seen headed toward Long Lick Pike on the Bypass.

The driver and the passenger on the motorcycle were taken to the hospital for serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

Temporary road closures in the accident area impacted late-night traffic.
