“Hiring Our Heroes” job fair aims to employ vets; coming to Whitaker Bank Ballpark

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – The U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation and the Lexington Legends are hosting the “Hiring Our Heroes” job fair on August 4th at Whitaker Bank Ballpark.

Organizers say there are more than 17,000 veterans in Lexington and the surrounding area, and that the job fair is their effort to give veterans support in finding a new or better job.

The event takes place at 1:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Whitaker Bank Ballpark (207 Legends Lane, Lexington, KY 40505).

All pre-registered participants will be eligible to receive up to two discounted tickets to the evening’s Legends vs Crawdads game, while supplies lasts.
