Hillbilly Christmas In July Celebrates 9th Year

Certainly you’ve heard of ‘Christmas in July’ before. Well, take that, spin it, throw in some horsepower on two wheels and you’ve got a fundraiser benefiting Shriners. It’s ‘Hillbilly Christmas in July’.

For nine years now, motorcyclists have saddled up and taken off from a Harley shop in Pulaski County. Participants just need to make a dollar amount donation or donate a toy to take part.

Organizers said weather hampered this year’s ride. Still though, around 200 riders made the trip to Lexington.
