“He’s a playmaker.”
LEXINGTON, Ky (WTVQ) – On Saturday, the Danville Admirals took home the school’s 11th state football title.
It was a team effort, but one player had an absolute day.
D’Mauriae VanCleave finished with 103 yards rushing plus 2 touchdowns, 5 receptions for 42 yards, 2 interceptions and a punt return for touchdown.
Needless to say, he took home MVP honors for the 2A State Title Game.
Here’s what VanCleave’s coach Clay Clevenger and VanCleave himself had to say after the game.
