Herald-Leader will stop publishing Saturday print edition

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ)- A Central Kentucky newspaper has announced a big change for its customers.

The Lexington Herald-Leader says it will stop publishing its Saturday print edition next year.

The paper plans to launch a weekend edition January 11, which will include expanded print newspapers on Fridays and Sundays.

It will also feature items normally in the Saturday paper, including comics, puzzles and sports.
