Heirloom Seed Sale

GleanKY gathers and redistributes excess fresh fruits and vegetables to nourish Kentucky’s hungry. Through partnerships with dozens of farms, farmers markets, and groceries across Central Kentucky, GleanKY is able to prevent thousands of pounds of fresh produce from going to waste. Our volunteers harvest or pick up leftover or excess produce and immediately deliver it to over 100 agencies that feed our neighbors in need. In 2018, GleanKY rescued over 250,000 pounds of fresh produce.

Our Heirloom Seed Sale is an annual fundraiser for the GleanKY mission. For the past 10 years, we’ve sold seeds on a Saturday in February, but this year we’re selling seeds online for a whole week!
