Harrodsburg Police make drug bust at traffic stop

HARRODSBURG, Ky. (WTVQ) – Officers in Harrodsburg found a variety of drugs during a traffic stop this weekend.

According to a post on the Harrodsburg Police Department Facebook page, Officer Darland conducted a traffic stop on North College Street on Saturday, Aug. 14.

As he spoke to Joshua Buck, the driver, the officer could smell marijuana coming from the vehicle. Buck admitted that he smoked marijuana in the vehicle.

The officer began searching the vehicle. He found around five grams of methamphetamine, five grams of a yellow powder substance, a bag of unidentified yellow pills and close to $2,700.

Buck was arrested and charged with the following:

  • Traff in controlled substance, 1st degree, Meth
  • 2 counts Trafficking in controlled substance, 1st degree, drug unspecified
  • Drug Paraphernalia

Buck was also served an outstanding indictment warrant for Trafficking in controlled substance 1st degree, Meth, Cocaine and Fentanyl
