Harrodsburg man charged with arson, attempted murder
HARRODSBURG, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – A Harrodsburg man is facing multiple charges after a fire at the Parkview Guesthouse, according to a release from the Harrodsburg Police Department.
Police say officers and firefighters were called to the guesthouse around 8:30 p.m. Tuesday for a possible fire. First responders arrived quickly and were able to extinguish the flames inside one of the apartments. Authorities say no injuries were reported thanks to their fast response.
The investigation into the fire led to the arrest of Ryan Tinney of Harrodsburg. Police say Tinney was taken to the Jessamine County Jail and is charged with one count of second-degree arson and 19 counts of attempted murder.
