Hardin County man charged with rape of unconscious woman

ELIZABETHTOWN, Ky. (WTVQ) –  A man is behind bars in Hardin County, accused of raping an unconscious woman.

The News-Enterprise reports 33-year-old Jeremy Figg drove a 29-year-old woman to an Elizabethtown park-and-ride lot and got into her seat.

The woman told police she was not conscious because the pair had just come from the emergency room where doctors had given her three different medications.

According to the paper, when she realized Figg was attacking her, she repeatedly hit him and eventually ran.
