Hardin County man arrested on child abuse charges

HARDIN COUNTY, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – A Hardin County man is facing charges after investigators say an infant was found with significant injuries late last month.

According to the Hardin County Sheriff’s Office, deputies and Child Protective Services launched an investigation on October 28 after receiving a report of suspected physical abuse. Detectives interviewed both parents, along with medical professionals, about the infant’s injuries.

Following the investigation, officials say 19-year-old Zachary Foster was arrested and charged with first-degree criminal abuse of a child under 12.

The sheriff’s office says the investigation is ongoing. ABC 36 News Now will update this story as new information becomes available.
