Handing out hope in Eastern Kentucky
PIKEVILLE, Ky. (WTVQ) – Volunteers with East Kentucky Dream Center continue to hand out hot meals and necessities to anyone in need in Eastern Kentucky.
According to a post by East Kentucky Dream Center, the nonprofit will offer free hot meals every Wednesday and Friday, along with grocery bags for people to shop. The nonprofit says right now they’re feeding almost 700 people weekly.
Anyone in need can shop for clothing, shoes and coats all free of charge. Hygiene items, as well as baby diapers, baby food and baby formula are also available.
According to East Kentucky Dream Center, weekly Celebrate Recovery Meetings take place every Wednesday at 6 P.M.
