Gunner Hoak transfers to Ohio State

LEXINGTON, KY (WTVQ) – Former Kentucky Quarterback Gunner Hoak is transferring to Ohio State. Hoak announced his decision Saturday on Twitter.

Hoak played in five games at Kentucky, completing 13 passes for 167 yards and an interception. He will have two years of eligibility remaining as a graduate transfer. He will also be able to suit up this fall if needed.

As for Kentucky, the back-up position will now be a battle to watch this fall between walk-on Walker Wood and the the two freshman, Armani Gilmore and Nik Scalzo.
