Group Calls for Barr Vote

Today in Lexington, frustrated farmers and others got together in Triangle Park to send a message to Congressman Andy Barr.

The group says they want the Republican from Lexington to vote on a budget – with no strings attached – and end the government shutdown.

Stewart Gritton, a farmer who used to work in the Agriculture Department, talked to the group about the impact the shutdown is having on Kentucky farmers.

Gritton says any problems Republicans have with the Affordable Care Act should be addressed after the government is back up and running.
