GREEN ALERT issued for missing veteran believed to be in danger

LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – A Green Alert has been issued for a missing veteran, and authorities are asking the public for help locating Nathan Branstutter.

Officials say Branstutter has brown hair and a brown beard, green eyes, and stands about 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighing approximately 200 pounds. He has an owl tattoo on his left arm.

He is believed to be driving a 2019 black Chevrolet Silverado with a veteran license plate, number H6C292.

Authorities warn the public not to approach Branstutter. He may be armed and could be distrustful of law enforcement and the public. Friends and family say they are deeply concerned for his safety and are hoping to bring him home safely.

Anyone who sees Branstutter or has information about his whereabouts is asked to contact dispatch immediately at 859-624-4776.
