Green Alert canceled for missing Lexington veteran, police say

LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – The Lexington Police Department says a previously issued Green Alert for a missing veteran has been canceled. According to police, it has been determined that 54-year-old Jyronna Parker is not at risk.

Police first issued the Green Alert after Parker was reported missing on Oct. 17. He was last seen around 2:25 a.m. in the 2500 block of Maggie Cove and had been believed to be driving a 2001 white Toyota Tundra with Kentucky license plate J8E532, according to the original alert.

The department did not release additional details about why the alert was canceled but confirmed Parker is no longer considered in danger.
