Grand opening of Lexington’s first selfie studio

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – New in Lexington, a selfie studio called “The Photoshoot” has opened at Woodhill Plaza.

Owner Kaygee Lucciani says she created the selfie studio in just 10 weeks with most of the props and decorations being handmade. She says she wanted to become an entertainment space in the Woodhill community since there aren’t many places to hang out in the area.

Lucciani says the selfie areas are designed based on her own interests as well as current trends and community ideas. Each selfie station is set up with a Bluetooth compatible ring light and wireless remote.

“To know people are excited and they enjoy pictures as much as I do, it gives them the opportunity to have a free-for-all and I mean it’s exciting, it’s overwhelming honestly,” says Lucciani.

Lucciani says time in the studio is available in 30 minute increments for you to take as many selfies in the stations as desired.
