Grand opening for affordable housing in Anderson County

ANDERSON County, Ky. (WTVQ) – Affordable housing in Kentucky is getting a makeover.

Winterwood incorporation out of Lexington is helping preserve and upgrade low income housing properties in rural communities across the state, according to officials.

On Thursday a grand opening ceremony was held at Brayton Apartments in Lawrenceburg.

According to residents it took about four to five months for crews to remodel Brayton Apartments.

Officials say 563 apartments across the state were renovated.
