Gov. Beshear, First Lady host final State Capitol blood drive before renovations
FRANKFORT, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) — Governor Andy Beshear and First Lady Britainy Beshear are hosting a blood drive Tuesday at the State Capitol as part of the American Red Cross “Team Kentucky” campaign.
The event runs from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Capitol Rotunda. Officials say it will be the last blood drive held at the State Capitol before the building closes for renovations.
The campaign encourages Kentuckians to donate blood to help meet ongoing needs across the state.
