Gospel music planned at Governor’s Mansion grounds

FRANKFORT, Ky. (AP) — Gospel music fans can hear several top Christian music performers at an event on the Kentucky Governor’s Mansion grounds in Frankfort.

The event is set for Sunday from 12:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. EDT. It’s free to the public.

Headlining the event will be multi-Grammy, Dove and Stellar award-winning performer Larnelle Harris. The Kentucky native has garnered many top 10 hits during his more than 20-year career.

Also performing will be the multi-award-winning bluegrass and Southern gospel group, The Isaacs.

Based in Nashville, Tennessee, the family group began singing together 35 years ago. They are regular performers on the Grand Ole Opry.

Other performers will include Beyond the Ashes, The Sneed Family, His Heart Quartet and Grammy-nominated vocalist Kenny Bishop.
