Goodfellas gets Super Bowl Support

LEXINGTON, KY (WTVQ) – On Super Bowl Sunday, local pizza joints like Goodfellas Pizza said they had their hands full with more than just some dough

Before the pandemic, the pizza place says they would have lines out the door

Unfortunately, like many other local restaurants and bars, Covid has slowed down business for them

However, on Super Bowl Sunday, lots of people came out to order from them.

The Bar and Pizza joint has been fortunate where its been able to keep staff hired and working during this pandemic.

While staff says it’s not as packed as it normally would be, they’re grateful for the local support.

One customer says it’s a win-win at Goodfellas.

“There’s a lot of people going out of business right now and a lot of people who are going to go out of business a lot of people struggling and even if its just ordering carry out or just tipping a bartender or a cashier or delivery driver is just helping out any way you can,” says Randy Daytona, a customer.
