Juvenile killed in Lincoln County golf cart accident

LINCOLN COUNTY, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – A golf cart accident in Lincoln County has left one juvenile dead and another injured.

According to the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office, the crash happened Sunday around 4:30 p.m. on South Fishing Creek Road. Investigators say a female juvenile was driving the golf cart when it left the roadway and overturned.

A male juvenile passenger was taken to Fort Logan Emergency Room, where he later died from his injuries. The female driver was also injured and treated at the scene.

Officials are urging anyone with information about the accident to contact the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office.
