UPDATE: Missing Laurel Co. teen found safe

LONDON, Ky. (WTVQ) – UPDATE: The Laurel County Sheriff reports 15-year-old Cherrah Witt was found safe Tuesday evening around 8:35 p.m.

The Laurel County Sheriff says a Golden Alert has been issued for a missing 15-year-old girl with mental disabilities.

Sheriff John Root says Cherrah Witt was last seen on Paris Karr Road in Keavy at about 1:00 a.m. Tuesday morning.

The Sheriff says Witt is 5’4″, weighs 180 pounds, and has hazel eyes, and brown, shoulder-length hair.
