UPDATE: Golden Alert cancelled for Magoffin Co. Man
SALYERSVILLE, Ky. (WTVQ) -Kentucky State Police say a Golden Alert issued for a Magoffin County man has been cancelled.
They say 79-year-old Harold Allen was found safe and in good condition in Carroll County, Virginia Tuesday morning.
Police say there was concern because Allen failed to return home to Salyersville after last being seen in Brown County Ohio on Sunday at around 4 p.m.

SALYERSVILLE, Ky. (WTVQ) – State Police issued a Golden Alert shortly after midnight Tuesday for a Magoffin County man who suffers from possible dementia and other medical issues.
State Police say 79-year old Harold F. Allen, of Salyersville, was driving a burgundy 2006 Pontiac Montana with Kentucky license plate 577 LSP.
He was last seen in Brown County, Ohio, on October 16, 2016 at approximately 4:00 p.m., according to KSP.
Harold Allen is 5’6″ tall and 120-pounds with blue eyes and gray hair.
He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a maroon long-sleeve shirt and black shoes.
