UPDATE: Golden Alert cancelled for missing Jessamine Co. teen

The Nicholasville Police Department say Alexis Potter has been found safe.

The Golden Alert is cancelled.

NICHOLASVILLE, Ky. (WTVQ)- The Nicholasville Police and the Jessamine County Emergency Management is issuing a Golden Alert for Alexis Potter.

Police say Potter left her house at 7:50 a.m. to go to school and never arrived.

She is described as 5’4″, 140 pounds. She has auburn/red hair and blue eyes.

Officers say due to medical reasons she is considered to be a danger to self or others.
