Lexington Police cancelled a Golden Alert for a missing man after he was found safe late Thursday night.

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – The Lexington Police Department issued a Golden Alert Thursday night for a missing Lexington man who has Autism.

Police say 27-year-old Jeremy Cook was last seen around 4:30 p.m. Thursday in the front yard of his home in the Hartland Park area.  His parents advised he has autism and has been diagnosed with Asperger syndrome.  He has been known to walk the neighborhood but normally returns.

Cook’s parents fear he may have gotten lost and cannot find his way home. Cook is described as 6’0″, 230 pounds, wearing a green jacket, grey t-shirt, black gym pants with a white stripe.

Anyone with information about Mr. Cook’s whereabouts is asked to contact Lexington Police by calling (859) 258-3600 or 911.
