Golden Alert Issued in Laurel County

LONDON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Laurel County Sheriff John Root has issued a Golden Alert for 45-year-old Rodney F. Carter, of Poplar Hollow Road in London.

The Sheriff says Carter has been missing since 1:00 a.m. on Monday, November 7.

The Sheriff says Carter may have some disabilities, but hasn’t released details.  Carter is described as 5’8″ tall, weighing 250 pounds, with blue eyes and blond hair, cut above the ears.

He was last seen wearing gray shorts with a brown line down the side, no shirt, along with white socks and possibly orange Nike tennis shoes.

The Sheriff says he will be conducting a ground search for Carter, enlisting the aid of a K-9 unit.
