Golden Alert issued for missing vulnerable adult in Lawrenceburg

LAWRENCEBURG, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) — A Golden Alert has been issued for a missing vulnerable adult, and police are asking for the public’s help to locate him.

Lawrenceburg police say 30-year-old Marquise Jones was last seen around 9:30 a.m. Jones is described as 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighing about 160 pounds. He was last seen wearing black pants, black shoes, a burgundy beanie, a light green hoodie with a black hoodie worn over it. Police say he may be traveling by skateboard.

Authorities say Jones is autistic and may be especially trusting of others. He is not known to be water-oriented, and this is the first time he has gone missing.
