Golden Alert issued for missing Rockcastle Co. man
MT. VERNON, Ky. (WTVQ) — The Rockcastle County Sheriff’s Office has issued a Golden Alert for help in finding a missing 59-year-old man.
William Ayres left his home around 6 a.m. Wednesday. A witness reported seeing Ayres around 8 a.m. in the area of Jones Lane Extender.
Ayres is described as a white man, approximately 5’8″ tall and weighing 170 pounds. He has brown hair, brown eyes and is wearing glasses.
He also may be wearing a denim coat with tan sleeves, a black Star Wars hoodie and black pants or blue jeans. He may be wearing or carrying a pink backpack.
The sheriff’s office says Ayres has a developmental disability.
