Golden Alert for 13-year-old Laurel co. girl

LONDON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Sheriff John Root from London reported the disappearance of a young teen early this morning.

She was last seen at 1 a.m. at her home on McNew Lane, off Slate Ridge Road.
Makayla Marie Mayfield was described as a white female, 5’6”, approximately 135 lbs, with shoulder-length, brown hair. She also had brown eyes and a medium build,but the family was unable to provide a description of clothing.
