Golden Alert Canceled for Knott County Man

The Golden Alert for a missing Knott County man has been canceled.

Officers said Larry Mardis was found alive and well. He was admitted to a hospital in Edgewood to be checked out.

Investigators had been looking for him since Thursday afternoon, which is when they say he walked away from the assisted living facility where he lived.
