Glasgow police investigating death of 4-year-old after being found unresponsive at home

GLASGOW, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – The Glasgow Police Department is investigating the death of a four-year-old child who was found unresponsive at a home last week, according to a media release from the department.

Police said officers responded to a residence on Cleveland Avenue on Thursday, October 16, after receiving a report of an unresponsive child. When officers arrived, they began life-saving measures before the child was taken to a local hospital.

According to the release, the child was later flown to the University of Kentucky Hospital in Lexington, where he died two days later.

No other details have been released.
