Georgetown Police warn of fundraising scam

GEORGETOWN, Ky. (WTVQ) – Georgetown Police Department is warning people there is someone calling and stating Georgetown Police is collecting money for a fundraiser over the phone.

Police warn this is a scam and GPD will never ask for donations over the phone.
