Georgetown police make video on Halloween safety

GEORGETOWN, Ky. (WTVQ)- Georgetown police want to make sure the community stays safe this Halloween.

The department just put out a new video to show families how to react to certain scenarios.

Police say children should always have a parent or guardian with them while they trick or treat. The department also says parents should never allow their child to go into someone’s home to get candy.  Halloween costumes need to be light colored or reflective.
