Georgetown Police conducting death investigation on Secretariat Street

UPDATE: Georgetown Police tell ABC36 they arrived at the house at the Secretariat address and found a man and a woman dead from apparent gunshot wounds.

Police also say there is not threat to the public.

GEORGETOWN, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – The Georgetown Police Department is currently conducting a death investigation in the area of Secretariat Street.

Authorities have stated that the preliminary investigation indicates there is no threat to the public. Residents and drivers in the area are advised to use caution, as there is an increased presence of emergency vehicles.
