Georgetown plant rolls out first Lexus
GEORGETOWN, Ky. (WTVQ) – A big unveiling Monday at the Toyota facility in Georgetown.
The first U.S. assembled Lexus will roll off the line.
The Georgetown plant is Toyota’s first wholly-owned facility in North America and was chosen to make the Lexus.
Toyota says the assembly line dedicated to making the Lexus cost $360 million and created 750 new jobs.
The ceremony for the unveiling takes place at 3:30 p.m. Monday.
