Georgetown man charged in seven Lexington burglaries
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Police in Lexington say a Georgetown man has been charged in connection to seven burglaries around Lexington, the most recent one happening early Wednesday morning.
Officers say around 2:30 a.m., they responded to an alarm at a Speedway on Tates Creek Road. Officers say they saw 50-year-old Victor G. Littleton’s car in the area. Littleton, officers say, was suspected in multiple burglaries over the past month.
When officers tried to stop Littleton, they say he wouldn’t pull over, but instead, jumped from the car while it was moving. Officers say the car stopped after hitting a parked car on Driftwood Dr. After a short foot pursuit, police say they caught Littleton. Investigators say several items from multiple burglaries were in Littleton’s car.
