Georgetown man arrested, accused of taking electronics from Scott County home

GEORGETOWN, Ky. (WTVQ)- A Georgetown man who admitted to taking a laptop from a Newtown Pike home, is set to be arraigned in court.

Lexington Police say 28-year-old James Andrew Tolson was arrested in mid-July and when questioned about a stolen laptop, admitted to stealing it from a Scott County home. Court documents say Tolson will be in court today on 2nd degree burglary charges.

Tolson tells police he entered the Newtown Pike home through an unsecured front door and grabbed the laptop from a desk. He was able to leave before the owner returned.
