Georgetown man accused of hijacking horse at Breeders’ Cup
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WTVQ/WHAS)- One Georgetown man enjoyed the Breeders’ Cup a little too much Saturday, according to police.
Louisville officers say 24-year-old Michael Wells-Rody hijacked a horse.
It happened around 4 p.m. Saturday.
Wells-Rody was reportedly drunk when he made his way into a private area, got on a horse, and rode it out of the tunnel, and into the track entrance.
When staff members asked him to leave, Wells-Rody reportedly became loud and disorderly.
He was arrested and faces charges for public intoxication and disorderly conduct.
