Georgetown Cemetery will exhume body of teenage boy who died in 1921

GEORGETOWN, Ky. (WTVQ)- Georgetown Cemetery plans to exhume the body of teenage boy who died in 1921.

National Missing and Unidentified Persons says the young boy is estimated to be around 17-years-old. They believe he was attempting to cross the railroad tracks at the Georgetown Train Station when he was hit by a train.

Officials say once he is exhumed his DNA will be tested by the FBI, which will hopefully lead to a positive identification.

Anyone that believes he maybe their relative is asked to contact NamUs to provide a family reference DNA sample for comparison.
