Gas Station Robbed By Man With Shirt Over Face
A man robbed a Lexington gas station early Tuesday morning wearing a t-shirt over his head, according to police.
The clerk at the Speedway store on New Circle and Meadow Lane told police that a man came in at around 1 a.m. wearing what looked to be a t-shirt with eyeholes cut out on his face.
The clerk said the suspect pulled out a knife and demanded money.
He left after the clerk handed him money from the register.
Police believe the suspect got into a car near Meadow Lane and left.
Investigators are reviewing surveillance video from the store.
