Gas leak in Lexington fixed

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – UPDATE: Officials say the emergency condition has passed and people may safely resume your regularly scheduled activity.

12:45 p.m.

The UK campus and the Lexington Fire Department are asking people to stay away from 751 press avenue because of a gas leak.

Officials say a building under construction was evacuated.

The road was already closed because of construction, according to the fire department.

Columbia gas has been called to fix the leak.
