Garrard County Animal Shelter issuing a Code Red
LANCASTER, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – The Garrard County Animal Shelter has issued a Code Red after announcing its kennels are completely full, and staff are urgently seeking adopters.
The shelter says they currently have a variety of dogs available — some that get along well with other pets, while others need to be the only animal in a household. Many of the dogs are already vetted and ready for new homes.
The shelter will remain open until 2:30 this afternoon, and staff are hoping the community will step up to help give these pets a second chance.
