Funeral arrangements announced for victim of Lincoln County explosion

LINCOLN COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – A woman killed in last week’s gas line explosion in Lincoln County will be laid to rest this weekend.

Lisa Denise Derringer, of Stanford, was the only fatality in the massive explosion in the Moreland community on August 1.

According to her obituary, Derringer was a semi truck driver for more than 35 years and was driving for Jim Beam Distillery at the time of her death.

“She especially loved being with her grandchildren,” her obituary reads.

Derringer’s visitation and funeral will take place Saturday in Clayton, Indiana.

Derringer was 58.
