Fulton County Sheriff: Possible Tornado Touchdown in Hickman

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) -Severe weather rattled western Kentucky Thursday night.

The National Weather Service is expected to be out in Fulton County Friday morning to determine if a tornado hit that area around 8:30 p.m.

Most of the damage was centered in the town of Hickman, Kentucky.

The storm damaged the 9-1-1 dispatch center and the Fulton County Jail.

So far no injuries or deaths have been reported.

The Red Cross has set up a shelter at a local church.

School in Fulton County has also been cancelled for the day.
