Fulton Co. escaped inmate located

MAYFIELD, Ky. (WTVQ) – A Fulton County escaped inmate was arrested in Cincinnati, according of officials.

State Police say Reggie Rankins was taken into custody on Wednesday.

He escaped back in June from the Fulton county detention center, according to investigators.

Police say Rankins is facing charges in Ohio, and will then be extradited to Kentucky to face charges related to his escape from Fulton County Jail.

He is currently incarcerated in Hamilton County Jail in Ohio.
