Fugitive caught in Bell County

BELL COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ)- Sheriff’s deputies in Bell County helped catch a wanted man this week.

Deputies say 36-year-old Joey Jarnigan was hiding in his home’s attic.

Jarnigan took off after he was placed on parole after a 2016 arrest for speeding, reckless driving, fleeing police, and two out of state fugitive warrants.

Earlier this month, police in Tennessee chased after him as he ditched his motorcycle at a home.

At that home, police say they found a marijuana growing operation.

He’s been on the run since then, now, he’s in the Bell County Detention Center facing charges in two Tennessee counties.
