Friends search for Savannah Spurlock
GARRARD COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – It’s been over a week since 22 year old, Savannah Spurlock went missing after leaving the ‘The Other Bar’ with two men in Lexington.
Richmond Police have questioned three men in connection to the case but no charges have been filed.
Some of Spurlock’s friends have been searching for her and have continued efforts outside of Lexington.
“We will never give up until she comes home,” said Kala Hamblin, friend.
“It’s honestly indescribable just to be out searching in freezing weather, not having any idea where she’s at,” said Megan King, friend.
It started with a group of friends searching for Spurlock in Lexington.
Kala Hamblin made a Facebook post inviting everyone to help search for her.
Sunday marks their third search party and now they’ve started looking in Garrard County.
“We were told that she was last seen in a house in Lancaster, KY so that’s why we’ve decided to come to Garrard County,” said Hamblin.
“I mean we’ve looked anywhere we think she might be,” said King.
They are reminding the public with flyers and signs that Spurlock is about 5 feet tall, 140 pounds, has brown eyes, and brown hair that is about shoulder length.
“I need her to come home regardless of the outcome whether it’s what we want or don’t want. I need her to come home for closure for all of us,” said Hamblin.
“We ask that you continue your prayers, and thoughts, and positive energy, and anything we can get we’ll appreciate,” said King.
