Lexington health fair to offer free flu shots and winter coats
LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – The Black and Williams Waypoint Center is partnering with WellCare of Kentucky to host a free community health fair later this week.
The event is scheduled for Friday, the 21st, at the Black and Williams Waypoint Center gym on Georgetown Street. Officials say the health fair will run from 4 to 7 p.m.
According to organizers, Walgreens will be on site offering free flu shots, while WellCare of Kentucky will be giving away free winter coats. The Waypoint Center will host the event inside the gym.
Officials say the health fair is open to anyone in the community.
