Fraternal Order Of Police Helping Storm Victims
Many first responders are storm victims themselves.
That’s why Chapters of the Fraternal Order of Police, including Bluegrass Lodge #4 in Lexington, are raising money and gathering supplies to take to first responders who need help on Staten Island, New York.
Volunteers from the FOP Bluegrass Lodge #4 are going to Staten Island on November 14th.
Organizers said they still need more help, especially from people who have campers and RV’s for the volunteers to stay in.
Organizers also said they need sterno cans to heat food, plus can openers, trash bags, mops, shovels and brooms.
To donate money or supplies, contact Fraternal Order of Police, Bluegrass Lodge #4, 1097 Duval Street, Lexington, Kentucky 40515. You can also call the Lodge at 859-255-7629. Make donations in care of "Hurricane Sandy Relief."
